Set up the plant shelf

Rinse the parts
Rinse the clear shelf and all three plant cups with clean water. Do not use soap or household cleaners around your aquarium.

Insert the three cups
Lower one cup into each round opening. Check that every rim sits evenly on the shelf and the slotted sides face down.

Set the shelf across the tank
Place one support over the first aquarium rim, then slide the telescoping section outward until the opposite support reaches the other rim.

Level and secure
Center the shelf and make sure both supports are fully seated. The shelf should stay level without rocking or pressing against equipment.

Add plants
Guide clean roots through the cup slots and into the aquarium water. Keep leaves and the plant crown above the waterline.

Roots can stay in the water, but the plant crown and leaves should remain above the waterline.
Clean gently
Remove algae with aquarium-safe water and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasives that can scratch clear surfaces.

What tank sizes will it fit?
The telescoping shelf adjusts from 15 to 25.5 inches (about 38 to 65 cm). Measure the exact rim-to-rim span where you plan to install it.
How many plants can it hold?
The shelf includes three removable cups, each approximately 2.2 inches (5.5 cm) in diameter.
Do the whole plants go underwater?
No. For common water-propagated houseplants, place the cleaned roots in the water while keeping stems, crowns and leaves above the waterline.
Can I use soap to clean it?
Avoid soap and household cleaners. Use aquarium-safe water and a soft cloth, then rinse thoroughly before reinstalling.
